Nithyananda Moon Diet: Red Cabbage Smoothie

Red cabbage, apple and nutmeg always remind me of my German upbringing. My grandmother used to make the ‘perfect’ meal out of these ingredients. Here I am using the main ingredients for a purple looking smoothie:

  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 sour apple
  • nutmeg to taste
  • 1/2 tsp linseeds
  • 1 Tsp soaked raisins

Add linseeds and raisins to blender and blend with a little water. Cook red cabbage and apple with nutmeg. Let cool for 5 minutes. Add to linseed raisin mix and blend. eNjoy!
